LIFE OF VINCENT PRICE: 1981 - 1990

This decade was extremely bittersweet for Vincent Price. He made only occasional films, was 'rediscovered' by Disney and Tim Burton, made a guest appearance on one of the music industry's best-selling albums of all time, and saw his wife's health (as well as his own) begin to deteriorate.

July 1984. None other than George Romero strongly considered making a third Phibes film! And Vincent was on board with it!

April 1986. How lovely this must have been. Vincent playing Albert to Helen Hayes' Victoria one final time! Not sure if it ever happened, though, as I can locate no record of it in the press.

Mid-1980's. Vincent continued his relationship with Disney by narrating the Disney-MGM Studios' 'Sorcery in the Sky' fireworks show.

       

October 1987

February 1988. Vincent and Norman Lloyd take part in a tribute to the Alfred Hitchcock Hour.

       

March 1988

March 1988. Vincent continued recording narrations for all sorts of projects, including this planetarium show in Rochester, NY.
