LIFE OF VINCENT PRICE: 1910 - 1920

This page covers the first decade of Vincent Price's life (he was born on May 27, 1911).

Another Price family death.

The death of the controversial Dr. Price received what has to be one of the worst headlines ever. July 15, 1914.

Here's a better try at an obituary for Dr. Price. July 16, 1914.

Family tragedy. Vincent's brother Mortimer was the driver in an auto crash that claimed the life of a young St. Louis woman. June 8, 1915. Vincent would have been 4 at the time.

The National Candy Company as it appears today (via Google Maps). Note the artwork and name over one of the doors.

1917

Vincent Price, Sr. was a sought-after speaker both locally (in St. Louis) and across the country. 1917.

1918

I believe this May 27, 1919 St. Louis Star and Times article to be Vincent Price's first acting notice. It's for a school program. He would have been 8!

1919

1919. Harriet was Vincent's sister.
