Your webmaster considers this Vincent Price's worst film. After the modest success enjoyed by Dr. Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine, a sequel (originally to be titled Dr. Goldfoot For President) was planned. Instead, an Italian comedy to star the comedy team of Franco and Ciccio was rewritten to include the Goldfoot character. The biggest disappointment, however, is that Italian horror maestro Mario Bava was assigned as director. How tragic that this brilliant director (whose work included Black Sabbath with Boris Karloff, and Black Sunday with Barbara Steele), when finally set to work with Vincent Price, was given this terrible comedy.
